It's literature time!!
My interpretation of E.T.A. Hoffmann's "The Sandman".
Ernst Theodor Amadeus Hoffmann was a german Romantic author, that lived from 1776 to 1822.
Made only with Aquarel pencils.
I can very much identify with the thoughts and works of the Romantic era and deeply respect this movement.

Interesting -- and Hoffmannesque!
If you've ever drawn characters from "Der goldne Topf" or "Meister Floh", I'd love to see the results.
(I also find it tragic that so many people who love surrealism, fantasy or nightmare tales have never read Hoffmann; imagine art-lovers who had never seen a Rembrandt or da Vinci!)
