VERY LATE CHINESE NEW YEAR (2017) THING
So its been a tradition of mine to always draw one of these every year, and while i wanted to get a piece done for Chinese New Year this year, school has been DROWNING me and I just barely have time to draw for myself x_x (hoping the workload will go down eventually) So this was something i ripped off from my character design assignment (we were supposed to create a rooster character in spirit of CNY haha) and prettied it up a bit. :'D
I called this guy Sriracha and I wanted to put him in the same universe as these characters: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/20062650/ (basically a world of chef animals haha) This guy in particular cooks everything with Sriracha sauce (no exceptions), and hes also a kung fu instructor!

YES the chinese new year furry art is in! XD
I take mandarin classes at the Chinese Cultural Center in my city and they always celebrate the new year and put of lots of zodiac-themed decorations :) On a side note, the word for "fire-rooster" in mandarin chinese is the same as the word for "turkey" XD
