I find it a little ironic how when I do my painterly pieces, I tend to have just 1~3 working layers. When I work with lined art the lines themselves are 3+. The sketches that I'm inking from can vary around 10.
So... don't do what I do. NAME YOUR LAYERS! Omg I have no idea what's going on anymore. I tell myself to just shuttup, work through the pain and git'er done.

I mean, honestly, having a ton of layers becomes really handy in the end!? It makes things a ton easier to edit in the end when you're trying to clean stuff up. o 3o
(Since I end up coloring stuff with a mouse, using a ton of layers is almost essential since making mistakes and fixing them takes waaaaaaay longer without pen pressure ; o;)
