Aki: "He still really likes to talk."
Me: "Yup. Also, wanna explain the thing the ears comment?"
Aki: "I guess. Simply put, Sraiks are taught to never put their ears down; because doing so is a sign of weakness. It's become less common of a custom in recent times; but anyone, especially those with gray fur, would be seen as lesser than the ones who keep theirs up."
Me: "But he has gray fur and you have gray with white, does that affect the ear tradition at all?"
Aki: "Not entirely. Since he's still an actual Sraik, he should follow the custom; but, those with gray fur have always paid less attention to the custom than those that have gray with white. Also it depends on how you were raised within the Sraik society, honestly. Higher classes of course always follow this rule, while the lower ones were the first to start ignoring the custom. And of course any other fur color outside of gray would never pay attention to this custom.."
Me: "...Anyways, this sounds like a really weird tradition."
Aki: "Yeah, it is. But he's not following it, so he's weaker."
Me: "Mhmm..."
Aki: "Just keep drawing the comic."
Me: "Will do!"
