Meet Steve and Dixie Sweet, the parents of Emily Sweet. Steve lived most of his childhood trying to make his high class and socialite elite parents proud of him by being an overachiever. However by the time he became a college student he eventually burned out and had a meltdown which resulted in him dropping out and his family disowning him. To deal with his living expenses he borrowed money from a Verdente Raccoon named Dixie, who was raised and trained in the art of business by a family of Gyoubu Danuki. During this time Steve took time to think for himself and found that he had quite an imagination as he worked various jobs in order to pay back Dixie and wrote down every idea he could think of, no matter how silly or impractical, a lot of them inspired by his time with Dixie and her family. After seeing some his ideas Dixie made a deal with him: sell yourself to me and I'll wipe your debt clean. The deal was made, the two of them got married and started working together. With his ideas and her resources, smarts and business savvy, the Sweet Foundation was born and began it's conquest on universe. Steve is an all-around laid back and fun-loving guy who is dedicated to his wife and new family who gave him the freedom to be himself. Dixie is a good person and incredibly business savvy but can also prove to be sly and mischievous. Whenever you hear her famous "Nukiki" laugh, you know that she is plotting something. They both love their daughter Emily with all their hearts and can't help but dote on her but know when to be firm as well. All around they are a happy family.
