I really like fox symbolism and their link between the spirit world and earthly planes so I’m really drawn to them as a subject matter. Painted with nearly 100% Daniel smith and sennelier watercolours, and with real gold leaf accents. The contrast between the painting and wood grain makes for an interesting finish. After seeing so many nice watercolour paintings on wood panel, I had to give it a shot myself. The overall process was difficult (I failed and restarted few times!), but I’m glad I started figuring it out.
