Mornings with Jinsei [Trade]
This big doggorabbit
poked me recently and gave me just, a ton of affection and oppertunity. We entered into this trade a while back and i thought of it as the perfect chance to try out some new shading methods...
So, this method focuses on one or many layers of... erase. I put down a blank shadow and carve away where the light hits. This technique gives me a lot of ability to create musculature, but it seems to be kinda dim so far. I have a few ideas to work more on it. But im glad i was able to come out with this kind of picture for Jin. <3
What do you guys think? Is this shading really good? Ideas for ways to make it even better?
He is about to eat me by the way, belly licks are a great way to prepare for the noms.
Art is by me.
Character is Jinsei. <3

It looks awesome, you did an awesome job with that technique <3
I think by dim you mean there's not that much of a contrast between the darkest places and the lightest places? You could just run over the dark edges with a soft shade and darken it up a bit, maybe? That would add another layer of contrast, maybe? >w>
... Either way, love belly licks ~ uwu
