I guess I'm tending more towards human characters myself... But we'll keep that secret, right? <.<
Detailled hair textures really aren't that hard to do, even in a quick work. Things like the details of the face or hands give me more trouble, and in a more elaborate work I would have spent more time refining them.

*laugh* Well, it did take something in between 10 and 15 hours, I guess, but by my standards that's a quickie, since I did the colours almost entirely during a single day.
Anyhow, you have no reason to be jealous of other artists' artwork. Try experimenting some more with colour, and add backgrounds to your works more often - other than that you're already doing great at most things.

Don't apologize! Please, I'm enjoying seeing all these undeniably attractive older men, even if I'm completely a blank in regards to the anime they are from(?)

Well, the series they are from are pretty entertaining... and not only because of the sexy mature guys, I mean. But they're a bonus. :D
As for Anthros, it tends to be difficult to clearly tell their age. But usually I try to make them look masculine and mature, like most of my (male) characters. ;3

There's never any reason to apologise for stuff of Walter. Because it's Walter, man! :D He's one of the best reasons for checking out hellsing. :D
I like that series too much as it is, though. :P
And happy that you kept to his actual details, too, instead of prettying him like so many people do. I mean, sure, one could claim is from... that part... but then the eyes would have to be different, :P. If my hands weren't full of the shakes right now I'd put my paw to more Walter stuff my self, lol.
Beyond that, if people got too upset about non-anthro work here, I'd have been lynched a long time ago, lol. Me and my damn fan art. XD
