My wife and I have a private RP we do with each other in a furry steampunk world. Here is a scene from that RP.
Eli is my hyena and he is an airship captain of the ship Freerunner. Denali is the ship's new medical doctor. they were hired to investigate a mysterious explosion in the Yukon territory. Along the way, the ship stopped to observe something odd and rare, a pool of black, supercooled water. However, the two stowaway raccoon children on the ship though t it would be a great chance to do some swimming. But as soon as they hit the water, they screamed and quickly went under into the icy depths. Heroically, Deni leaped in to try to rescue the kids. She can swim, but the water was far too frigid. It took the efforts of Captain Eli and a few other crew members to pull all three of them from the grips of icy black death.

A short time after the rescue, when Deni is in their quarters trying to get warm and shake off the last of the hypothermia, Eli comes to check on her condition. Of course, they have a relationship with each other, and though the whole crew kinda knows about it, they all go through the motions of keeping it a secret. And once he is sure that they are alone, Eli pulls Deni close, and gives her a loving kiss. "The boys are recovering well. It seems that you are too. It was foolish to dive into that water without a line, but I know your intentions in doing so. I had feared that I lost you, Deni. Don't ever scare me like that again."

Two days later, all her fur fell out. LOL.

but here is a sweet moment from our role play, captured to remember by the very talented  intricatevision who did all this artwork. She's fantastic. Commission her. Framing this and giving it to my wife for Valentine's Day.
