These are concept drawings for a Mutants and Masterminds character I played a while back. I wanted to do something sentai-esque because it was a street level hero game, so I figured a kamen rider-esque hero could work.

I wasn't sure if I wanted the character to be associated with the police or not, so I did one with a police theme and one without.

I ended up going with Red Raida as my character concept. I never drew his motorcycle though.

The elevator pitch for his character is that he's a TV actor that has a show called Red Raida, a sentai show shot in.. one of the states on the mexican border. He discovered an alien pod that gave him the powers of the Red Rider, protective suit and helmet, the ability to project fire with his attacks, and a couple other things.

He shared this discovery with his producer, and he wanted to make it into a show. He uses that as a front to throw attention off of himself, since the idea of a vigilante impersonating a TV show isn't farfetched.

He refuses to kill, always preferring to restrain criminals and let the police handle the pickups, even though he most often has run-ins with a dangerous cartel that has been peddling a new drug that causes people to manifest unnatural powers.
