Well a Metroid would just drain a headcrab of energy, but if a headcrab got onto a Metroid... hmmm... I'm not sure... that's a weird one.

Well, MOST forms of the headcrab zombie show very poor coordination of the host's body. So chances are if a headcrab latched onto a metroid... and assuming it WOULD be able to gnaw through the exterior shell of said metroid, and doing such didn't result in it, uhh.. popping or something, then...

We could expect to see a metroid-with-headcrab-on-top go flying about in some sort if irratic moth pattern, before crashing into a wall.

I don't think it would work. You need an ice beam and five missiles to hurt a Metroid.
