Ooh. Have you ever need to take them to the vet? I'm having an argument of how expensive they are. I know they cost a lot to get, but my friend brought up vet bills and everything I have looked up states that they don't need vaccinations and don't carry any known diseases. Not saying a Sugar Glider wouldn't need to go to the vet at some point, but in your experience, have you needed to get vet care for your Gliders?
Actually I have taken them to a specialized exotic care vet just for check ups. He asked me what their living conditions were like and what diet I had them on, then gave them a good look over. They came out with a good bill of health. They were of good coat care, a good weight. Quite lively. Another reason to vet is if you don't plan on breeding. I have three males so no breeding there (didn't buy the rights anyway) and I do plan on getting them neutered in the future anyway. The vet I found wasn't all that expensive with it, so it is good to look around for a vet. Do get one anyway for those emergency situations! Never know when you might need one.
Little stinkers can get themselves into trouble and it's good to have a vet on hand that knows how to handle gliders.

Yes. I'll be getting 4 females, so I'm not all too worried on getting them neutered. They are around 8 months old.
On top of that, we have a couple experienced sugar glider vets nearby if anything does happen. I'm unsure of how these babies will be when I get them. Their owner used to be a breeder, but had moved their cages to the basements. She feeds them, gives them fresh fruit daily as well, she just doesn't have the time to bond with the babies after having quit breeding for a few reasons. My cage won't be here until Thursday, but everything else will be here each day of the week.
ALSO, cute lil babs.
