Well, having seen AGDQ and SGDQ quite a bit. I know from what they've said that they band together to find and test out new tricks for speedrunning, so even if the other guy is having a bitch fit over losing, the fact that his opponent found a new trick they could use to beat the game faster is just as sweet a victory for him as it is for Paul, especially if he's willing to share it.
