(Spoilers for the game Endless Summer on the app Choices, as well as a rant after the story.)
My search group, the only search group of us stranded on this blasted island, had just finished searching through the CEO's office. It was strange, more so the holographic desk he had, though none of us knew the password. Still, at least we had a fair idea as to what was going on.
Still, it wasn't enough, as try as we may we couldn't find anything. The others were planning on going off ahead, while I opted to do some last minute poking. Sure, there wasn't anything else TO find, but I felt like I'd have some last minute luck. So, I took one last look and true enough, I found something strange sticking out on the desk. Something that wasn't quite there before. Upon closer inspection, I gasped upon seeing files of everyone in my class. It said top secret, but I couldn't help but want to peak. Could this explain why we were here? Were we chose for a reason? What's going on here?
However, upon further inspection, I figured I'd respect my classmate's privacy and just toss all the folders in the paper shredder. A major clue in potentially solving this mystery, and all I could think about was what my classmates would think of me if I read about their secrets or something. Well, now no one would ever know...

WTF! I mean, what the actual hell~??? Why would you put a paywall on a mystery game where FREAKING CLUES could spell the difference between a solving a mystery and being in the dark~? I mean, I get, it's a great way to get money from your player base, but I swear, I hate how difficult it is to get gems (you need gems to unlock certain content, like clothes, choices and such. It's called a premium choice or something like that), which is finishing one chapter at a time, not to mention how expensive these premium choices are. Not to mention, ESPECIALLY for the more mystery based stories, WHERE CHOICES MATTER, you can't pick the right one because they're expensive.
Look, I get it, Choices is more of a dating sim game where your mission is to date the hot guy (or the occasional girl, but it's rarely pursued as much) and that's it, so why have a mystery game, where the focus isn't usually on boning a character, where the right choice is the expensive choice? For something called Choices, where your choices affect the game, content and characters, you aren't really given a lot of options.
Shame too, because some of the stories are REALLY good.
Also, haven't been drawing, and I kinda wanted to try Krita for a bit, see how it differs to Sai. Soo, forgive me if it looks less than stellar from my previous stuff. I just needed to get this off my chest.
ALSO, I've played through some of the other campaigns too, like the Freshman and the Manor stories, and while the stories are good, it's clear that Choices is made best when it's more of a dating game, because there, it feels like you have more options, some of which aren't gated by a paywall.
