Fucked sound is fucked. Apparently my animation didn't like going to swf.
Anyway, it's not done yet, there's still a text detail describing the condition and lots of other things through a large part of it that I didn't have time to add that I will over break. I might get around to posting the final version eventually <_>

Wow... this looks like something I would make!
But GOOD!
And you might want to have your ground glass cleaned before you continuing seeing with that filter... x.x'
'Little film humor there for you. I'd say 'you're welcome' if you'd wanted it.
I do have to ask about the 'paper bag' animation style, though. Did you do this purely for a stylistic reason or is there a deeper symbolic reason behind it that I missed? It's fine either way, of course, I was just curious. ^^

I didn't have very much time to make this in, I only had two days to render so a lot of my plans were pretty far obliterated :I Plus one of the main counterparts ended up killing itself while I was working. I was going to put lots of cluttered, fast moving text when it goes back through the eye describing optic neuritis and the things its caused by and what you have to do and the text changed font every frame, which looked pretty awesome. But while I was about halfway done, it just randomly deleted itself for no fucking reason and I couldn't get it back, so it's missing a lot. I'll see if I can finish it once break starts and repost with better sound.

It's fine, I don't think it's very insensitive...anyway optic neuritis gets better very quickly after 2-3 weeks of its occurrence and then levels out for about 6 months after. My visions almost entirely back to normal aside from some very minor distortion and discoloration - it was at about 20/100, now its at 20/25. So that's not what my vision is like now, its what it was like :B
Ouch. I developed optic neuritis back in May of '08, went pretty much blind in my left eye. Had steroid injections twice a day for several days that left a bad taste in my mouth, and then they weened me off on steroid pills for several weeks. The condition itself and a lot of the side effects were rather awful. It's nice to hear you've made a steady recovery from it. Horrible thing to have happen.
It certainly did. It was hideously painful, too. I was on narcotics for the pain. The blindness pretty much hit me in the course of a week, after I thought it'd just been a migrane that messed with my vision. But I think the side effects from the mass amounts of steroids were worse than the condition. It cleared up in less than 6 months too.
Thanks! :D It was imported and put together in flash, just for the convenience, but the video was done in after affects and the animated portion done in photoshop. You just have to export your video as a .swf file to upload it here, which I believe you can only do through flash :O
