It's like piecing together a puzzle. I can pick out major words and the few French prepositions I know and get a basic idea. Like from the first line, I know "crainte" "de te" "décevoir" "me faire" "dire" " le contraire" "de ce que" and "pense" as individual phrases. And from that I put it together and I think it's something like "fear of deception makes me say things I don't mean/that are the opposite of what I mean?"
Ah, and google translate tells me I'm not too far off. Yay!

Aw, I was just teasing you a little, but I know that you can't consider a blessing to be English speaker as I've heard that English schools don't encourage students to learn other languages while french schools consider it as an obligation and not as an option. So far I can only understand 3 languages and speak 2 of them but I wish I could learn more...

Yea, other languages here are optional "electives" in schools. Though they are encouraging it more now, and offering more languages. When I was in school all we had was Spanish and French, but my sister (10 years younger than me) had those as well as German, Chinese, and I think also Greek.
I love the idea of those earphones! I do think it's good to learn a new language, but something like those devices would be good if you find yourself in an unexpected place. You never know where life will take you, after all!

Ah, too bad they didn't do it earlier... But they probably realized how important it is now for Young people to move around the world ? Especially to grant them better chances to find a job... Chinese might be the best option now as they're starting to open to the world. But... it's so damn hard to learn this language ! >o<
