These batfaces came out excellently for Nyxis's new model sheet. They had to be just a tad smaller to fit on there so here they are in full size cuz' I'm super proud of them!

He's a card, isn't he? His style, his fucked up style, it's amazing.
There are some Bluth elements that he pioneered (the lips, mainly, but also the planar treatment of human hair and the contorted facial expressions), aside from the ones Don developed (the Kahl hands, the uneven fur edges, the angular eyes, the fetish for overlapping action) and Gary developed (the goddamn floppy tongue)... you can see it in the stuff they did before they joined forces. It's fascinating to trace the development of a style like this.
