
All pinfeathers. Around a week and a half I think, the wild birds grow so much faster than the pet societies or zebras.

I breed Zebra Finches. Pretty common little buggers.

He does. I used to find all these little pinfeathery dudes when their nests fell apart around. I'd try to get 'em before the cat did.
But...I was too crummy to raise 'em myself. I took them to a little rescue not too far away. Good times.
Now I don't have a yard so no tree :D :/ :(

Thats too bad, its not so hard to feed them as long as you can keep them with you ALL THE TIME. I bring Pi to work with me and feed him every hour or so now. At first it was every 15 to 30 min but he can go a bit longer. Wildlife is easier then pets because they actually sleep through the night. So when I sleep he doesnt need to eat, Zebra finches on the other hand have to be fed through the night, so little Pi was a piece of cake in comparison.
