(Ominous Wind)
OoOoOoOo!
Vasha's trademark move, Ominous Wind. They are undoubtedly one of the trickiest team members to KO, and one of the stronger ones too! But, Vasha has more than a few strange quirks on the battlefield that make them... Difficult to lead. Baseline Vasha is very neutral and agreeable, but also very sedentary and tends to sit back and watch if directions aren't given. But when Vasha is caught up in battle--especially when using ominous wind--their 108 spirits get riled up, and some of the more prominent ones can take over.
The Paladin- The most prominent of the spirits, the Paladin actually tends to come out when Vasha uses Sunny Day instead of Ominous Wind, since that was his signature move in life. He's a very ardent soul and doesn't really understand the concept of battling as a sport, and tends to think it's an actual battle to the death. Fortunately, his strong sense of righteousness means that he tends not to actually try and kill anyone, but he does prioritize the team's defense... Even against the coordinator's instructions. He's also an extreme holy roller and talks way too much about DIVINE TRUTH... Needless to say, the coordinator (Percival) doesn't like him much. Naomi--however--has taken a shine to him!
The Seer- The second most known spirit, the Seer is a strange one. The spirit of a young soothsayer who was burned for heresy, this soul has a powerful connection to the spirit world, and can see the past or future with great clarity. However, they're an uncomfortable mix of childlike and spooky as hell that scares the shit out of both teammates, and opponents. "Get Spooky With it," is in the Math n Shit playbook for a reason, and that's because it works! However, Vasha is completely blinded when the Seer is in control, and some clever teams can take advantage of that.
The Huntress- Stealthy, confident, and skilled, this spirit specializes in ranged attacks and is a deadshot with Rock Tomb. She tends to follow instructions well, unless she has a better idea about how to win: so long as the team wins, she's happy. However, her gut instinct is usually wrong, and she often leads to disastrous fuckups when she decides to do her own thing.
The Duelist- The spirit who regards instructions the least, this fellow tends to come out strongest when the situation looks darkest. He's an expert at combat and makes Vasha far more agile than normal, and has been known to fight off 4 or 5 opponents at once. He's brash, arrogant, and hot tempered, but he gets the job done! ... Usually. He's also a giant sore loser, and tends to nag Vasha from the back of their head whenever things aren't going well.
The Maiden- The most earnest spirit, but definitely the least useful in battle, unfortunately. She knows nothing of fighting and cares little about winning, and tends to focus on team support and pulling her punches so as not to hurt the opponent. Off the field though, she's very sweet!
Vasha is... Weird. Their base form doesn't talk much, doesn't emote much, and struggles to fit in. Oddly enough though, they've found a weird home in Team Math n Shit, and care for their teammates a surprising amount, despite the deadpan exterior. They bounced around the singles circuit and several other teams: their strange identity situation puts a lot of battlers off despite their great stats. Vasha doesn't really have any goals as a student or even as a person, and drifts about life looking for a good fit. For now anyway, battling with Team Math n Shit is that fit! Woe-betide the person or persons who tries to break the fractured team up any further.
