I wanted to create something memorable and special to commemorate my 1 Year Anniversary with  midnight_yamikidate, as well as Valentines day. ^_^

I had the most difficult time choosing what to draw. At first I thought about just drawing our characters doing something cute, but that didn't feel emotional enough. Then I considered doing a simple comic or animation, but that would've taken too long. I had idea after idea cross my mind, and I even considered doing a sculpture. But late at night I got an amazing idea. I wanted to draw our two characters embracing each other in flight, in the most free form possible. With wings, distance means nothing. We could fly to see each other every day if we wanted to, and that's what inspired the poses shown here. I looked at the drawing, and felt it still wasn't enough.

Then I got the idea to take some moments from our year together that were the most memorable to me. The first time we played League of Legends together, and I didn't know what on earth I was doing. I'm horrible at strategy games, but I enjoyed playing it with you because you enjoyed it, and it made you happy, which made me happy.
But there weren't always happy moments all the time... When Krista went to the hospital, I was so distraught and scared. I needed someone to be there for me, so at 3 in the morning, you were there... You talked to me, and I felt my sadness lifting just by listening to your voice... You chased away my sorrow, and filled it with laughter and happiness, and hope... Even hundreds of miles away, I felt your heart beating in sync with mine.

Though we may be far apart, and we don't always get to talk that often, I know deep in my heart that I love you, and you love me. We click on a level I just cannot describe. I can't wait till May when I come to actually see you. I love you Mid.
