It was a clear night as we were flying over Paris on our way in, obviously. Very, very hard to get a good shot when you're doing night-time exposures and travelling 700 mph, even if the target is far away.

Cabin of the plane is visible in the reflection, too. Trans-atlantic flights are... Interesting, primarily heading east, since you're opposing the rotation of the Earth. So I started in GMT -5 and finished in GMT +1, but it took me 8 hours to do it. So I basically went through 14 hours in 8. They feed you on a sort of accelerated schedule on the plane, but it's very weird to be moving and have a well-lit space and then look out and see the dead of night.
