Stepping into the hall she saw the elevators, and one was open with smoke coming out of it. Circuit was trying to shoot Rift as he would teleport place to place in the hall and try and blast her with his eyes. Copleand dared to step toward the shaft as bullets and laser blasts were already coming close to taking her ears off.
Circuit's aim was dead on, but Rift would teleport away before the shot would hit. She'd reload each time, and move as fast to dodge. And then, a chance came when Rift teleported across the hall from her.She grabbed him as long as she could. Rift growled and shot lasers off from his eyes madly as he punched and kicked, But she kept his head faced away from her and held at least one arm in her other hand.
"Check on Torrent and Ash!" A monotone bursted from Circuit's clothing "They're down below!" She then took a punch to the muzzle.
Copleand still listened and ran for the elevator. She looked over the edge as drops of water fell into the smoke and vanished. "Torrent? Ash?" She called "Are you there?"
"Copleand!" Torrent shouted but faintly "... Ash, the kids, they're trapped behind a gas fire!"
"Is there any water down there!?" Copleand shouted down
"What?... No?" Torrent called back "How would that help anyway?"
"Don't touch any if you see it. It's radioactive!"
"Radioactive?" Rift shouted and looked at his feet "You mean, we're contaminated?"
Circuit took his off guard moment to grab his face and dig her claws in. He howled in pain as he throw her over his shoulder onto the watery floor. He glared at her as she scampered back to her feet. His eyes widened as he backed up "My eyes...." He murmured and then looked at Circuit as she stood up. "So that's how you work...." Then teleported at her and lunged.
Copleand turned around and shot twice and knicked the back of his neck where a faint "Ting" rang for a moment. The she was stuck watching Circuit and him wrestle close in the hall "Circuit, Hurry up with him, they can't stay down their or it'll get flooded with more of that water! No worse, the next wave is even more radioactive!"
Rift kicked her back then looked at her "You can't be serious," But he just looked at her face saw how tense her eyes were getting "No way I'm getting any more Radiation on me." And he was gone in a flash.
