Ah, no. That was much longer in the past and I sadly don't have pictures of her. She was one off the two horses of the family friend who taught me how to ride.

Jenny here I only worked with once, sadly. We offered help to her owner who had several horses, for free. But after a few sessions he decided to instead of pay a "professional" a shitton of money, who then used excessive violence instead of our natural body language based methods.

Argh! Kinda upset me to read that last part. My friend Carol used to raise and train Arabians, and I don't recall her once training a horse with cruelty.

Sadly forceful methods are still the norm here, and outright violence is fairly common too. My friend was trying to teach as many people the violence-free natural methods as possible but way too many were only interested in the whole thing as long as they didn't need to make any sacrifice (eg not ride a horse for months or a year until an injury can heal) or too much effort, or they were interested because they cared about only themselves not the horse and expected this way they can get what they want quicker and easier, only to become uninterested as soon as they realized it actually takes time and patience to do things the right way.
