A little experimental speedpainting I did for practice. I'm trying to get into speedpainting at least once a week, and this was my second attempt at it. It features a species from Olmia, the elusive Higanatsu. The Higanatsu is a sand-dwelling serpent that, when hungry, is a dangerous and skilled predator. But, when they're sated, they become calm, curious creatures. Even when they're in need of a meal, these serpents are rarely a danger to humans; Higanatsu prefer to hunt large game so they can conserve their energy. Expect to see more little paintings like this.
