Honestly she looks like, more sad/distressed in the bottom left, but I can see the obvious progression of the 'oh shit' feeling in the eyes- it's just the lower, more visible eyebrows are highly evocative of a sadder connotation, which is bizarre given the situation, but weirder things have happened irl. People DO have a rather bizarre range of facial expressions and they can go through several wicked fast in these situations xD
Also if putting out great art and being quite the amazing idea bouncer and 'do pretty much half a ref in 'heres the idea but i know if you surprise me I wont even be mad cos it'll be drop dead astounding' mode is 'dealing with a situation badly', you go right on ahead and get worse and worse! <3
