Bio: What species of canine La Chubera is, let alone her age, is unknown. She has stood watch over the burial site of the El Chupacabra, bound to make sure the demon never rises again.
In the modern age Blaze and his owner are on a trip in Puerto Rico. While looking for a gift for Cadpig, Blaze begins digging at the burial site and uncovers the ancient talisman. Before he can take it La Chubera jumps him and gives him a warning that removing the talisman would be a bad idea. Blaze runs back to camp yelping and scared. In his sleep The First speaks to him and convinces him to take the artifact, this of course awakens the chupacabra. The chupacabra fallows the talisman back to the U.S. and La Chubera must stop it before it kills. After she finds Blaze's owner injured in his home she fallows Blaze's scent, knowing that the chupacabra will fallow the talisman. She later finds an unconscious Cruella and the broken talisman. She fallows the chupacabra's scent to the Dearly farm and faces it before it kills any of the animals. She comes close to killing it but before she can gives the death blow a dark power infuses with it making it stronger. Hellen and team shows up in time to help La Chubera. Though they succed in defeating the chupacabra and sending it to Tarterus, La Chubera is mortally wounded. Blaze apologizes for not obeying La Chubera's warning. She simply tells him that it wasn't his fault, that he was simply manipulated by The First. Hellen asks her what The First is, but all she says is that the Ancient Guardians faced it. Then with her last breath she says that her job is finished and she can go on to eternity.
La Chubera returns after Belladonna combines the cupacabra with a psycho murderer, creating NightFang. La Chubera teams up with Hellen and Oranlu to stop NightFang. But he gets away and La Chubera fallows after, saying that it is her job to stop him.
Powers: Simi-Immortal (bound to guard chupacabra burial site), gains full Immortality and Planer/Temporal Travel after Annabelle asks her to return to earth, this time to Hellen's home reality, to stop NightFang; can detect chupacabra and NightFang
