And who better to lavish the line with more loveliness than the lounging lioness, Leona, sweetly lingering when not leaping into long-lasting battles?
Trying to get back into daily sketching, Desaree (a.k.a.
) decided 17 days ago to offer free sketches to any and all furs that wanted to be part of group lines (as I'd ultimately find out later) and is still offering them even now. I was more than happy to put Leona Mika's face out there and see how she'd look in her style. Boy did she not disappoint! Just under a week later, I saw that she was part of the line of such gorgeously-designed girls!
Of course, all the ladies in this drawing look absolutely sweet and drawn beautifully.
Nice natural and casual pose Leona's in, working the hips slightly to one side and having her hand-paw rest on the one side. Exemplary body definition for the lioness' figure here; very gracious, modest curves and great attention to detail with lines and creases in all the right spots. Her mane/hairdo looks very silky and shiny drawn this way. Speaking of which, great strategy implementing little white marks to show off the lighting and shine on her furry body. Detail in her wardrobe looks pretty decent, especially with making her tube top look like it's got multiple folds in it. And her expression is very welcoming and bright!
