I was going to do more with this but the background kept coming out wonky, so it’s remaining a sketch instead.
I said before that cars aren’t common in Equestria, ponies tend to prefer their traditional means of getting from one place to another, even the train took quite a bit of time to be accepted. Only the richest in cities like Manehattan even have a car, and they don’t drive it themselves.
Widjet on the other hand is all about modern technology. He bought his car from a gryphon company that manufactures and ships them to Equestria to sell to said rich ponies.
He then modified it with bigger brakes, and stiffer springs and dampers. Then he pulled out the five litre inline six and replaced it with an engine of his own design, a sixteen cylinder monster that makes a stupid amount of power.

A few people have mentioned that sort of thing. Though I was inspired by a 1950's 1.5L V16 race engine. I thought about how crazy that would be in a road car.
Widjet's car is styled after late 1920's roadsters, and the engine he fitted is a 2 litre U16. It's much like a V16 but each cylinder bank has it's own crankshaft. I actually have the engine design figured out, but I haven't drawn it yet.

Reminds me an aweful lot of my character and his prized ride. As a motorhead I love the vintage styles. U-block, twin crank engines were actually made back in the day and Bugatti made a U-16 for aircraft applications in the 1910's. You probably already knew that though, huh?
Anywho, lovely car; great look and design. We should race sometime. ; )
