"Ah, there you are. I've been waiting for you. My name is Claus. Please, take a seat. It won't take me long until I finish your scarf. I suppose you are confused, so let me tell you a story to explain the reason of your arrival.
Once upon a time there was a goddess, whose name was Nadia, while I was her tutor. She lived in a palace of a small kingdom, called "White Lily", together with her future husband, Russel. As they both were just kids, they had a lot to learn before getting to their duty, which consisted in maintaining the balance of our world. But something went wrong. Russel didn't want to accept his role of the guardian, and wasted his time in vane. Thus, when he had to get to his job, he ran away.
That's when the balance started to distort itself. Lady Nadia made an effort to keep the balance steady, even though she couldn't do it on her own for too long. As a consequence, she stopped aging, and stayed with her childish attitude.
After several years, Russel decided to return to the kingdom, and take it with force. I had no right to interfere, but I couldn't let him harm lady Nadia. I fought until the very end. The battle we started was devastating, considering Russel's great power. Nevertheless, I couldn't protect anyone. When I opened my eyes in a middle of our destroyed kingdom, I couldn't find any of our guardians, except lady Nadia's amulet. Our world is in chaos and madness now. There are no more sun, and plants.
I looked for someone who could help, someone who could save our world, and apparently the luck was on my side.
There is a boy, called Charlie Johansen. He has greater potential than he thinks. There are truly a few like him, and that's why I chose him. Our hopes go with Charlie, and your job is to protect him from anything that might distract him from his task. If he won't maintain the balance, then we are most likely to disappear from the history, or even worse.
The weather is severe outside. You should be well prepared. Come closer, your scarf is ready. We all count on you. Defend our last salvation for all costs. Now you can go, Hector."
