Love Refinery Pod:

Love is strong and powerful food source... but it takes a significant amount to fully feed a changeling. In order to to increase the potency and long lasting effects of love, changeling scientists developed the refinery pod. A pod which when full of of harvested love, uses chemical reactions to distill the substance into a concentrated mixture which can then be stored and fertilized for future use. Basically it's the changeling version of a distillery.

Conversion Pod:

Sometimes the hive needs extra recruits, by any means necessary. To do this they use the conversion pod. Once placed inside the first bulb of the pod, the subject is chemically mutated into a changeling, before being deposited in the secondary pod which incubates and secures the newly changed changeling, allowing the changes and new form to stabilize before releasing them as new servants of the queen and hive.
