I've been waiting a while to post this, as I spent quite a long time on the design... Where to start.
So I have this character Ruska (mask by the lovely Magpiebones) who slowly has started to evolve into a fully fleshed out character over the past year. Due to her coloration, I knew I wanted her to embody the season of autumn, and particularly that I wanted her to be aligned with the blood moon (as this year it came very close to my birthday).
This illustration is kind of a culmination of the aesthetic I envision Ruska to have, if she were her own entity. Drawing it was a very cathartic, meditative experience that I enjoyed a lot between other larger pieces of work, and allowed me to kind of calm down from the stresses of the day. Autumn to me is a very 'this too shall pass' time of year, the transition from life to death, but a constant reminder that the seasons change and the cycle continues.

I might do a pin set eventually! That would be fun. maybe something with cats.
I think this design is probably a little too detailed for a pin (at least a comfortable sized one) but the idea with this kickstarter is to get a small amount of funds saved up to put toward other merch types that I can sell online and at cons so I could totally see enamel pins in the future.
I definitely have at least one other shirt design like this planned out, maybe two and the commissioner who backed the expensive tier will be getting one as well so hopefully I can make this a full thing and not just a one off shirt design c:

I wanted to offer stickers to people who liked the design, but didn't want to wear it. I'm very much the same way, so I only put stickers on things I intend to use regularly. currently that thing is my laptop case, which is the only place I put them. I actually have one of these on it right now :D
