Looking at this its as if your artistic ability has been locked in suspended animation for the last three years. You really need to draw more and continue to develop your skill less it stagnate. Sitting in front of a laptop all day and working the night shift seems like a lifestyle that could easily accomodate some free time to draw. Though I can imagine the drive and incentive to do so is trialing these days, especially without the immediate gratification many artists want when they do make art.

Your dipiction of fur and hair has improved though.

I guess you forgot the part where I spent the last several months completely avoiding doing art. Did you expect me to get better during that time?

Did I not acknowledge that fact with the suspended time analogy? I was suggesting you should do something with your talent and work on honing your art. Granted, if that's something you don't feel a necesity to bother with at the moment I won't force the issue. But you shouldn't stray from your art, it can be frustrating at times but can also aide for enhancing creativity.

I have started doing art again. These were just the first few things I've done since starting up again. Don't be so touchy about it. I'm just surprised that you felt it needed pointing out. Though, having gone back and looked at things I did in 2006, I don't think you have an accurate memory or how crap I was then. Just saying. ^_^

Hrmmmm... not once here have I implied your work was crap, bad or lacking, just that it obviously had not progressed as a result of your neglecting it and thus is why I would like to see you draw some more. Perhaps the one who shouldn't be so touchy is you considering it was you who immediately launched into defense mode when all I had said was that you should start drawing again.

I think you're insinuating far more hostility from my comments than was intended, and you do have a habit of getting a tad over-defensive when you come under any form of critique. Chill, I was only saying you need to draw more.

Though reading over my own words again, I think perhaps we're both making too much of what the other person is saying. And that response does seem far more defensive and touchy than I intended.

Oh hey, I think I've run into this guy before, like, on Taps a while back or something. I remember thinking he was pretty cute at the time, and this just re-confirms it.

Also, why the hell did I not see this until three weeks after you uploaded it? I'd never have seen it were I not just randomly looking at your front page to see who was watching you and stuff out of curiosity, and suddenly seeing new pictures in your gallery. I'm reasonably certain I'm still watching you....

That would be funny, if you'd seen me about before with a character you didn't know. I never really kept them secret, but unless I draw them no one really knows.

Oh, I knew it was you, mostly because you told me at the time. ^_^ I just meant I remember running into this particular character before and liking him, and this picture just makes him even more awesome.

He's actually the character I use nearly all the time, too, so you should probably keep an eye out for him.

It might make a few folk balk and feel a little cheated, I too might feel a little cheated, but I wouldn't quit hanging out with him. Just 'cause dudes don't get as far as they might like in romance with me, it doesn't mean I can't keep being friendly to a nice person.
