So here's one to file in [RP Moments]

This is... was... my very first D&D character. I played him sometime back in 1998 I think. He was a wizard. Maybe an arakroka, but I think the race was actually more of a home brew. General avian thing. I don't even remember this character's name. But what I do remember is how he died. We had made it from 1st to about 5th level, when our Gm decided to throw an adult white dragon at the party. And being the noob that I was, I didn't stop to consider Party Roles, and that a caster does not belong up in melee range with a frigging dragon. I was out of spells, and I had a staff, so I went to hit the dragon, and ended up getting a cold blast in the face. and I totally failed my Save Vs Breath Weapon. (yes, it was 2nd ed). I don't even remember if we won this fight. I seem to recall the rogue trying to stab the dragon under the tail. Which is probably what made it turn around and breathe on us all.

After this fight, we all referred to my wizard as Tyson Frozen Chicken, and I went on to play a ranger. So this pic is on honor of you, first D&D character birdy wizard.
