Usage of technology does not equate to one's level of intelligence and Lion Leo is basically anti-technology. Why does every school need a marching band? And unfortunately Social Media, despite its vices, is used in everything from businesses to politics. In a way Lion-Leo is still afraid of the present day as a whole if he wants schools to do everything the same way in his era.
That doesn't necessarily mean everybody's following his views, though. I still had a feeling you or somebody else (possibly
Uberskunk) would say something.
Uberskunk) would say something.
It more or less shows that Lion-Leo hasn't really changed at all. He's still afraid of the present day and still struggles to accept technological advancements since, what, 1940-1950, his heyday? There's a big difference between nostalgia and being in denial. He either accepts the here-and-now or he doesn't. Plus he has no factual basements for what he's saying when it comes to usage of technology equating to 'stupidity'.
Then I've done it again. Do note all my heroes were given immortality by the element CNG (criptonitroglycerite), which they admit is the greatest curse of all, because you struggle to adapt to the new world. But with Leo's case, like you said, he fears the present day. (He was born July 4, 1946, so the 40s and 50s are his heyday, terrible as they were.)
Honestly, the major problem with your stories, especially as of recently as far as I've been trying to keep up with, is that none of your characters experience any meaningful or lasting character development and they virtually remain the same no matter what happens. They are eternally loved and worshiped by all, they get rewarded for every single thing they do in unbelievable ways, they can never get criticized for anything, and anyone who have anything negative to say about the G-52s are always condemned as if they are 'nonbelievers' and made out to be the 'bad guys'. Both the G-52s and Wildcat City are, by definition, Mary Sues; too perfect in a bad way.
This is where I start to be convinced I am a horrible writer - and an overall horrible person because of it - even if those convictions are false. I also have thoughts about if I never should have joined this website, let alone erase everything and leave forever. (I'm not because

The critique on your writing is NOT a personal attack on you. You have to keep the two completely separate. Criticism, from one writer to another, is healthy. Without it you can't improve your writing. I have problems with my stories too and use whatever critique I can get to improve my craft. Do not take critiques as a personal attack, it's not worth it, trust me.
Richard: I think the biggest reform of our education system in our administration is that we're handing the education system management to the states. I understand how important it is for schools to teach the basics of things from English to science but at the same time, letting the states have their state curriculum in favor of a national curriculum is better that way. Biggest factor is that each state has a different economic system and their state curriculum system should fit their needs. It also helps to give teachers more power and responsibility over their students' academic performances and encourages them to be accountable for their students' performances. Of course whatever you did after made our schools the best in the world again.
Zachary/Zihao: Level of education plays a role in stratification in society too. Its nice to make education accessible to everybody but its up to them on what they want to do with them. For example, more people would rather be civil engineers than investors since civil engineers can work as a unit with a leader who presents them the idea and they work together to make the idea become a reality. Investors tend to have MBAs can be leaders of labor capital and can send their resources to a strategic area to make more profit out of too. Like any other country, we want people who are smart enough to do the job and only the few who are brilliant who can lead. And that's how education works. At the same time, everybody should make proper judgements hence I still think everybody, regardless of what their background is, should learn philosophy to make proper judgements.

Richard: Lets go to DC and have you make a speech clearing that up. Also, remember, emphasis on states' rights. If you have a good idea but you're afraid that it may be controversial, leave it to the states to experiment with that idea of yours; some will try it as others will reject it. That's the beauty of the American federal government is letting the states try ideas from the national government to see if it works well for them or not.
