"I THINK I'M GETTING THE HANG OF THIS!!!!!" Flint calls out before finally being bucked loose.
Flint trying to show off that he can ride a horse.
I think the horse has other ideas.
I also think that Flint needs to wear boots while riding. He's not gonna be happy when his foot gets stuck in the stirrup.

I do have to say that I did this IRL. I had a stud quarter horse, I spent a lot of time getting him to be gentle around people and he was for the most part. I could saddle him up and lead him around by the halter or bridle. But as soon as I got on him he turned into a bronc and would do his damnedest to throw me. My longest ride was five minutes. My last one nearly cost me my left eye. He threw me and I ended up face down into a cactus. I had to cut a thorn out of my left cheek between my eye and just outside of my lips. I've still got a scar there.
Damn, you're hardcore xD
I like the concept or idea of taming a wild beast by riding it untillit gives up and admits me as a rider. I dunno why u3u
Still I don't like the idea of doing it IRL, not a fan of forcing animals. Quite a contradiction xD
Gotta say this picture is amazing tho. Maybe I'd like to see you trying to beat your longest ride.

I grew up with horses. I could ride a horse a better than most people could drive a car by the time I was seven. I've broken several horses. That one was just stubborn. I ended up giving him away to a friend who wanted his bloodline for racing.
I had a mustang when I was young, the first horse I could call mine. I got him when he was not even a yearling. I worked with him everyday and he became the best horse I've ever had. He was smart, very smart. He knew several vocal commands and many hand and touch signals. I usually rode him with nothing more than an old wool blanket doubled over as a saddle. I could get him to do anything and go anywhere without hesitation. RC hated everyone and would bite and kick at anybody that approached him, except me! I had him for three years when he got struck by lightening. I was very upset at losing him.
RC looked a lot like the horse in this picture. He had a dark mane and tail, and boots on three of his feet. He also had a diamond stripe between his eyes with a white spot on his nose.

That's a very sad story at the end mate... but also a beautiful story of trust.
Glad to know the story of this pic... but I still wanna rode xD
I never rode alone a horse... and even less ride a bucking one. I just like the idea on my head, dunno why.
I rised on a city, so no contact with horses almost xP
Luckily, my character can do whatever I decide xD

Oh this picture wasn't planned. I bought a commission slot and told LethargicDeer to pick a character and have fun with it. She came up with this all on her own, I had no input in this really.
I think everyone should ride a horse at some point in their lives. I'm lucky in that I was able to grow up with horses.
We had several. Most were race registered quarter horses. We had great bloodlines and our mare had won several races and we were on our way to earning our spot in some big races. Her son was the stubborn stud horse that nearly blinded me. We stopped after we discovered the dark side of the horse races. We stopped racing both to protect our horses and to keep from killing some of the other owners. That's how we ended up with RC. Paid, I think, about $50 for him. Then vet bills and quarantine. We got him off of a trainer that didn't want to spend the time RC needed. I was out of school for the summer so he became my project and then my horse.
