How many times had he come here now? He had definitely lost track. It was enough for the birds, once so skittish and flighty, to be comfortable enough to alight on him and eat out of his hands. This place was always so relaxing. No matter what he had been going through, he could always count on his mood improving the minute he set foot in this world.

He knew he would have to go back soon. There were things back home that had to be dealt with, and people that wouldn't be willing to wait much longer. He sighed. Another hour or two couldn't hurt.
