I went to the anniversary meet for my local Brony meetup group a month or so ago. It was a fantastic time; I had a load of fun with everyone there playing silly games, doing a quiz, drinking, singing, drinking and more.

One of the things to do was a 'design your own pony' contest. I thought I'd pitch in for fun and come up with something, just as a bit of fun. With all the hilarious ones people had submitted and some of the amazingly intricate designs, I wasn't expecting my modest effort to get anywhere.

Fool on me, I only went and won.

Somehow, my humble little Earth Pony, Rosie Ribbons, won the contest. So, I got a Terry's chocolate orange as a prize - which is great, because I bloody love chocolate oranges!

I drew up my winning design (the originals were all on a standard format pony outline) as a commemoration to show what I imagined her like.
The little bit of background I came up with for her is that she's a botanist from Trottingham, and she journeys around Equestria, looking for rare plants to bring back and cultivate.
