Technically Seth has never been stated as a Christian, he is a Vampire after all but that doesn't mean he can't be near a cross but I don't see any Vampire being Christian since in famous stories the church is always trying to kill them.
I think in this case that the cross was added to make him look more badass since a lot of Gothic and Punk clothing include crosses in the design
