Chalk pastel and natural, found charcoal (burnt out tree stump) on vellum Bristol.
I'm going to try sharing my non furry art and just see how it's received.
This is the first in a project of mental exercise and practice I'm calling "Scenes".
These are studies. This is not a real landscape but one I conjured.
The point:
To create a fast, simplistic scene utilizing simple, clean(ish) lines and simple clean(ish) shapes and colors. No fussing. No over analyzing, just shape, form, color, space and composition. I'm playing with subjects and interactions, the active and passive areas of space and how they commingle and segregate. I'm honing my ability to perceive mentally what I want to create visually. I'm sharpening my tools of translation in hand-eye-mind coordination.
Ebby, I'm wondering, perhaps this could be a good workshop for the group? I'm still so interested in doing it! Do you wanna start really hammering out the details for it and put it together?
