i never really liked the term “recovery” in terms of living with borderline personality disorder. it has weird implications that its something you can get over, like a flu or cold. i like the idea of management though. i would say im very pro-management and mindfulness
its a tricky thing, but with a lot of work and effort, support and love, you can fight the black and white of your mind and learn to be able to see some of the beautiful shades of grey in life
im not so sure bpd would ever go away, but you can befriend it and live with it at least

Even though I don't know what it's like to personally deal with bpd, I think you're on point in saying that management and support are a lot more realistic than "recovery." I also just wanted to say that I think it's really cool that you use your art to talk about stuff like this, and even without that message your work would still be a big source of inspiration for me ;v;
it's a god damn struggle every day, but stopping to live in the moment is crucial.
Haha, man... i have so. many. apps. on. my. phone. to help me with mindfulness.
Anyway, on to your art. This is great. It really is how it can feel; extremes one way or another, and finding that bit of grey is almost mind blowing every time. like DING DING *little light bulb* AH HA! So, i /don't/ have to fall into a pit of despair!
no matter how many times it happens, and what a relief it is to feel and know.
