After explaining the premise of Hayaikawa's ability to liquid-shift a fair number of times I decided it would be best to just make a sheet explaining it all while giving some visual examples.
All the pictures here are in my gallery and easily find-able.
Many are my own art while a few are from others.
A complete list of all the art will be coming shortly as I update this page.

Test from sheet:
Most transformation is based of some form of melting,
though ice and steam are also acceptable.
Water based, NOT goo.
The ability to take on various shapes comes very naturally.
As if poured into an invisible glass, he simply fills in the shape.
In the new shapes he chooses to retain his “fur pattern”, but he
can change his colors easily as well.
All parts of the melted form are still his own, no true "core" exists,
but dilution and continued splitting and separating of his form
can cause him problems.
Small bits that were removed can remain under his control
with enough effort, but may be "scrapped" if it is deemed
unnecessary to retrieve the portion.
Additional mass can be gained from soaking in water,
OR people. No true consumption of their form is done,
just a merging and melting down of the new fusion form.
Hayaikawa retains full control of the combined mass, but may
allow the partner control of their form. Be it shared or full.
This can allow him to transform other, as if painting over them.
This transformation is not magic and has no time limit, but a true
biological remaking of them. Though it can be easily undone if desired.
Due to the mental effort needed to take on the various forms,
Hayaikawa often needs to melt down to liquid when he sleeps.
He prefers his specially designed bowl, since any bed would
simply soak him up and require a few hours effort to remove himself.
