I have so much art I have failed to submit here to my gallery and share with my faithful followers on deviantART. Back in 2013 I was commissioned by a client to do more than 30 pet portraits for her longest-standing doggie daycare clients, featuring their dogs. I remember taking photos of every one of these portraits, only to later realize my camera had a bug and only saved half the shots. Nonetheless, I managed to save a few.

The commissions have became high-demand after which point, and through the bustle of painting I forgot to submit them all. These are a few of my favorites from that 2013 batch, all dogs I worked with personally and know their hearts, personalities, and quirks like the back of my hand. It's really what made this particular project so rewarding and fun, and why I can enjoy these paintings now as I look back.

From left to right: Spooky was a malti-poo who was as sweet as could be. Bogart the Dalmatian had one of the quirkiest attitudes and the most misunderstood voice. Guapo the schnauzer-poo was one of my best buddies and another quirky fellow. Lastly Hope the Bulldog, who was always full of surprises, and I found out she passed away early last year.
