This was probably the most heartfelt of the recent uploads.

Mez is moving forward one step at a time, as the fire rages on behind him. Covered in wounds and with no clue what happens next he continue to march on. He can hear the rage of the dragon in the distance but he does not look back but only feel sadden by its call. He never wanted to leave this way, in fact he never wanted to leave at all. But he knew if he stayed that the dragon would only continue to be angry with him and Mez would only come to resent his decision to stay as the days would take a heavier toll on his body. So he moves forwards in the hopes to heal his wounds. His once tight family either shunning him for making the dragon angry or being left behind in hopes that they live a better life without him.

Once making it to the other side, the bridge from which he was walking on collapses into the canyon that now separates him to his past. He cant see them or hear from them anymore as he looks over the canyon but prays that they live happily together and they too will be able to mend themselves after the fire quenches, the rage calms, and the love returns to the once peacefully family of the Dragon.
