So now we have it, the second protagonist of X+Y redesigned according official legs.
And well this time it's not as easy to blend in oblivion as Yveltal, the changes are sorta more notable in....everything. Resuming all this time I screwed up much more on bucks than death birds. This is will do the fix, hopefully. Now let's take forever to get this memorized.
Good thing only these two a necessary redesign.
I don't think I need to list the differences but will do anyway:
1 - The antlers are longer and ascending. I never realized was doodling them wrong until now.
2 - Never noticed Xerneas had a pair of tiny puny horns.
3 - Legs was the worst mistake, they were never straight heel shoes. I'm going to enjoy figuring out their logic forever.
4 - Neck got longer. But not as long as the official sources, I tried but looked so....silly. So scratch some centimetres, it's good to go.
And that's all! Do you liked the two redesigns? I take some people rather me to do cartoon, not really minding if I keep doing the anatomy wrong or not, but oh c'mon, it's just that. You'll see, once the real thing starts you'll forget they ever got extreme makeover :3

I... actually prefer your original version ^^; I'll get used to this, maybe even love it in time, but I liked your other one better, for some reason. Maybe because it simplifies a fairly complex design, I don't know. (This might also be because I really am not a fan of Xerneas as it is, especially the original design xD)
That being said, I hope you like it more than I do. It's always better that an artist likes his/her work more than one random viewer, it makes it easier for them to create their work and continue to create work, especially on a passion project fan work, or comic

I know many people will complain saying my original version "was better".
Despite being the body shape being wrong.
But honestly, just the anatomy has been fixed, the expression and personality are the same, which in the very end, it's what actually matters. Sure Xerneas has a complex design and that's what makes it special. It's what makes legendaries special.
I was so bored with his original design but couldn't figure out before what I was doing wrong. Needless to say, my own position matters. I'm the artist after all, and if I'm not comfortable, I'm free to change. Regardless what others think.
Now it's more I like it, he looks like a real Xerneas now with still the very same expression as usual.
