It's got it's quirks, certainly. The prime example (for me at least) would be the linework layer - you can use it to adjust how thick your lines are, and the 'pressure' of then (how well they taper off). It's not got quite as many brushes as Photoshop has, and they're all generally separated into distinctly different tools (e.g. the airbrush has the soft round tools, where the pen has the hard round), and with some elements of real media mimicry, a bit more like Painter than Photoshop.

Wow, this drawing came out amazingly Blue. I love the coloring hues in this. It really brings this to life and adds so much depth to the puffiness of this drawing. Also it looks so smooth, which is a major plus! Nice touch with the small shine spots around your belly and arms in this, plus I like how thick your arms look in this. A fitting size given your belly size.
