Idk, I just find a comfortable position for how to draw each thing. I might suggest making really generic shapes with a large brush on a light setting to construct the bodies, then make a layer on top to flesh out a finer sketch. Follow up with a line tool or just regular inking. And I usually lay down bright colors because it's cuter and easier to go darker from light for me
