if we're talking about just numbers, white people make up less than 5% of the world's population.
when people talk about minority populations they don't mean numbers, "Minority, a culturally, ethnically, or racially distinct group that coexists with but is subordinate to a more dominant group. As the term is used in the social sciences, this subordinancy is the chief defining characteristic of a minority group. As such, minority status does not necessarily correlate to population." aka, PoC are minorities in America/Europe because white people historically (and currently) have dominance over them.
so comparing by actual percentage of population, foxes are more equivalent to han chinese (the largest group on earth at 18% of the worlds population.)
also I chose my fursona. it didn't chose me. it's not a sentient thing. it's a fictional character lol.

Amusingly, I created my main sona before learning of the fandom and all the pile of furs on top of that list... yet, a Wolf, that is also a quarter fox hybrid.. that is a triple combo, right? ^.^
