I.) PREFACE
II.) Gödel’s Incompleteness Theorem: An Overview
An explanation of the historical context of the Incompleteness Theorem, what it means, and the mathematics behind it, as well as responding to two objections to its validity and introducing some of its ramifications
III.) On the Possibility of Omniscience
A presentation of three interpretations of Gödel’s Incompleteness Theorem as it pertains to the acquisition of human knowledge: futility, transcendentalism, and mathematics as expressive of objective truth
IV.) From Omniscients to Utopians: A Proposed Dynamic
Working with the philosophical responses presented earlier, I develop a description of a utopia in which wisdom from a transcendentally omniscient God is passed to aspiring humans striving to develop a utopia
