Who knows how long exactly the feline sat there, almost as if hypnotized, watching his dingoroo friend enjoy the chilly snacks they'd bought. He forced himself to assume that it was Tom's usual energetic enjoyment that made him work his mouth over the Popsicle in such a ravenous, nearly lascivious manner, but there was another part of him that was begging the powers that be to let this be a sign of hidden desires. So far the dingoroo had played the straight part quite convincingly, and he himself hadn't tipped his hand about his own sexuality. Yet, with a body like that and his naturally sexy and friendly demeanor, it wouldn't be long before a situation arose where he'd find it impossible not to make his attraction evident. Then what would happen? The feline could only wish and hope... and stare.
The question drove him wild: was he, or wasn't he?

though it isn't teasing... if both act on it shortly afterward... which had almost always been the case in my past.
now it would be teasing... in that I can't just act on it as freely these days, as I'd like to... at times.
given that I have to be more careful, so as to not; harm my wife's scents of safety, and/or my Bear-Friend's feelings.
and yes, before anyone can ask, they knew about, and had met each other, before me and him became an "anything," other then just "family friends," let alone "lovers."

I guess it must be quite the hypnotic sight, considering that poor ol' Kal hasn't even noticed the dribbling popsicle juice going down his hands.
... and you KNOW this is going to lead to some sitcom-esque hijinx when Kal remains unaware that he's got some sticky green crap on his hand until it's comically too late, and a relatively innocent attempt at a handshake goes terribly wrong... or... terribly RIGHT.
DINGEROO *after attempted handshake*: "Your... uh, hand appears to be stuck on mine."
KAL: "Oh! Oh, shit... sorry, I had no... idea that was on there."
DINGEROO: "Wow... that's some pretty tight stuff... I can't get loose."
KAL: "Actually, this happened to me once before when I was a kid... it comes off on it's own if you get all sweaty."
DINGEROO: "I... see."
KAL: "Huh... well... wanna work up a sweat? *innocent grin*"
