That is correct. Some of her magic power gets diverted to physical strength and sword skill. It's essentially a class change.

That dialogue is so natural, I'd never have known it was exposition without that last panel.

Normally I don't like 4th wall breaking referencing of exposition scenes (if a scene is badly/boringly written, don't draw attention to it), but you went so over the top with the last panel I just burst out laughing. Good stuff, I love it.

Thanks! I feel the same way-- this page was written three years ago and when I revised it, that panel was my solution to "how do I fix this?", ha ha
